Kuvan Kevät – Degree show of Academy of Fine Arts 7.–29.5.2016

Clock icon 7. May 2016 - 29. May 2016

This year´s Degree Show presents new works by 42 emerging artists from all the four study programmes: Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture and Time and Space Arts. For the first time ever, this year’s exhibition also features a student from the Praxis Master’s programme, who will curate a separate exhibition for her Master’s degree. Works are on display on Academy´s exhibition spaces Exhibition Laboratory and Project Room in central Helsinki. In addition co-operation is also carried out with gallery Forum Box.

The works in Kuvan Kevät are not tied to a specific theme; instead, the artists have been free to choose their own topics. Suvi Lehtinen is the curator of the exhibition and a lecturer in Exhibition Studies and Spatiality at the Academy of Fine Arts.
