The works are born from an affinity for paper and, as importantly, an interest in the traditional practices of model and still-life drawing. They are part of a self-referential process where some drawings have been re-used and appear in new contexts. Their meaning is never fixed and resembles an echo or a game of Chinese whispers, eventually fading away or changed beyond recognition.

Similarly, when observing people, they are what you make of them.
